Chikoo or Sapota is a deliciously sweet fruit that babies and toddlers will absolutely love. It is primarily light brown in color and pulpy. It consists of sugars such as fructose and sucrose. The slightly grainy yet soft texture makes sapota a perfect choice when introducing solids to your baby. Sapodilla or chikoos can easily be introduced into your baby’s diet once he is 6-8 months old.
