This healthy recipe uses apple puree which is high in fiber and free of salt and cholesterol.Strawberries are sharper in flavor than other fruits so you can use other mild fruits like apple or banana to mild it down.So combination of apple and strawberry goes very well your baby will just love it!
Ingredients:
- 1 Apple
- 5 strawberries
- ½ cup water or milk
Method:
- Wash the apple under clean water.
- Peel-off the skin, remove the seeds, and dice the apple into small cubes.
- Place a thick bottom pan on medium heat and put the diced apples and strawberry pieces in it.
- Pour water to cover them completely.
- Cover the pan with a lid and let them simmer for about 5-10 minutes.
- Turn off the flame and let them cool down.
- Blend the boiled fruits with a blender or a fork to the desired consistency for your baby.
- Divide into portions suitable for your baby.
