Baby photoshoots have been in trend for the longest time and you might as well take it for granted that they are not going out of fashion anytime soon.

It is great to work with children of age younger than 1 year because they are easier to get around with than the ones who can move on their own. However, baby photography has its own set of challenges that as a photographer you will need to deal with in future.
In this article, we are going to guide you to create a beautiful indoors photoshoot setting which is perfect for a baby of 6-9 months old.
Material Required (9 items)
You can easily conduct a photoshoot for a baby at home without spending any money at all. For that, you need to have a little creativity and a lot of enthusiasm. The materials needed for this shoot are very common to be present in any household. All you need are-
- A blue bed sheet for the background
- Pink bedsheet for engine
- Dark Blue bedsheet for engine
- Yellow and Red bedsheet for coach
- Black color dupatta for making track
- Green color dupatta for connecting coaches
- Black and yellow paper square cut outs for windows
- Saucer and black cut outs for making wheels
- Cotton and black cut outs for fog
Preparations
- Start by sanitizing the floor for the safety of the baby.
- Cut out all Black sheets and Yellow sheets for making windows.
- Cut a small circle from the black colour paper for wheels of the train. you can use a small bowl from your kitchen to trace the circle.
Create The Train Theme Setting
- Floor
Spread the Blue bed sheet on the floor and flat it out using your hands. Make sure there are no majorly visible wrinkles on it. - BedSheet (Train coaches)
Fold the pink color bed sheet in square shape to make an engine.
In the same way fold the yellow and red color bed sheets to make coaches.
Now connect all these with green color dupatta.
Fold the Dark blue bed sheet and put it under the pink bed sheet so that it overlaps half of the pink bedsheet.
Remember the square cutouts we asked you to prepare? Take them and place it on the engine and coaches.
Now put saucer at the bottom of the coaches and put black paper circles on it.So it will look like
- Now for making fog you have to use cotton. Spread the cotton such that it looks like fog and put small black paper strips randomly over it.
- Â Your background is ready.Here you go!
How To Click The Best Shots?
- Lay down the baby above the train.
- Â Make sure the lighting is right for the photos to be clicked.
- You can also make good use of natural lighting and for that, you need to create the setting closer to a well-lit window.
- Dress the baby appropriately for the shoot.
- You can try to make them laugh while clicking the picture for getting great outcomes.
- Hand the baby a toy and make the best use of the props for their photoshoot.
- Take as many candid shots as possible while you are at it.
