- Peel a small banana and mash with a fork.
- During the first stages of weaning, add a little milk if necessary to thin down the consistency.

Precautions to Take While Feeding Bananas to Your Baby:
- Mash the bananas properly for babies who have just started eating semi-solids so they don’t choke.
- Make sure that the banana you are serving is ripe and yellow in colour. Do not give your baby raw bananas, as they are hard to digest.
- a child can have a banana even if he is having a cough and cold, but it has to be avoided in children who are allergic to bananas.
- Add a little bit of jaggery and Cardamom powder in banana to avoid cold and cough.
