Things Required: (4 Items)
For children photo shoots, there are many things required according to the theme you want to choose. Most of the props will be available at your home.
Some common things you need for every theme are:
- Blanket or bed sheets (backdrop)
- Soft towel
- Pillow and pillow cover
- Chocolates
The Color and size of the blanket or pillow may differ for the different themes we are going for photography. The main thing is, you need to be more creative to use your surroundings in the picture.
Tips Before Proceeding:
- Make sure your floor is clean enough, sanitize the floor before proceeding.
- Check for proper lights. If natural light isn’t available at the time of the photo shoot, arrange some artificial light.
- Your kid’s dressing should be according to the theme you are choosing.
Create The Chocolate Theme Setting:
The chocolate theme is the most famous theme for kid’s photography. The extra thing you will require is only some chocolates. You will need a light color blanket, so the background is pretty and eye-catching. The towel should be in a dark color. The wrapper of the chocolate should be of different colors. The Pillow cover should not match with the blanket or the towel.
Step 1: Spread the blanket on the clean floor, make sure it doesn’t contain any wrinkles.
Step 2: Put your towel in the middle of the blanket. Make it look like a chocolate wrapper.
Step 3: Leave some area on both sides of the towel. And according to the kid’s size, make an easy knot on both sides with a pillow cover.
Step 4: Put the baby inside the towel and cover a little part of your kid’s body with the towel, so he could grab it with his/her hands and tries to open it.
Step 5: Spread the chocolates and toys on the remaining part of the blanket.
Step 6: You can write down your children’s age in months with the help of small colourful objects.
Step 7: Take as many shots as possible.
