These pancakes are based on apples and oats. You will need rolled oats, apple purée and milk for the batter. You can add honey and a pinch of cinnamon powder to the batter for a little extra flavour
Step by step instructions:
- Place the oats in the skillet and cook over a med-high heat, shaking and tossing frequently, until they start to turn golden brown and smell toasty.
- Place oats into a blender and blend until smooth powder.
- Just place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Let the batter sit for 2 minutes in the blender while you heat your pan.
- Add oil or butter to a nonstick pan and place over medium heat. Add pancake batter 1/3 cup at a time. Cook for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and tiny bubbles appear around the edges. Flip and cook for 2 minute.
- Allow to cool and serve pancakes with fresh Apple and garnish with maple syrup.
